Thomas Tuchel Chelsea Rebuild - Chelsea's £200mil DREAM XI - FM22

THE INTRODUCTION - WHAT IS NEEDED?

WHO NEEDS TO GO?

WHO TO SIGN? - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

CENTRAL DEFENDERS

Antonio Rudiger has been impressive for Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel as the left-sided central defender in the back three but will now need replacing. We look at Rudiger's profile and compare him with Central Defenders who can replace him and Andreas Christensen this summer

WING-BACK

With Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta looking like their on their way to Barcelona, Chelsea will be left with little options to play as wing-backs. Reece James will be on the only natural wing-back on the right, with Chilwell the only natural wing-back on the left. Chelsea do have Emerson Palmieri and Ian Maatsen back from loan to fight for a spot but I have identified Sergino Dest as a perfect wing-back to sign. Who is also able to play on the left-side of defence.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS - DECLAN RICE ALTERNATIVES

It's no secret that Chelsea are admirers of Declan Rice but he may prove to be too costly for Chelsea to sign this summer. Chelsea may also listen to offers for Jorginho, so this may be another area Chelsea are looking to address. I've looked at two possible players who could do a similar job to Declan Rice - to note, Declan Rice was very impressive with his progress runs per 90 (3.01).

ATTACKERS/CREATORS

Now to look for some attacking players for Chelsea, the criteria here was to look for a central forward who is clinical inside and around the box. But also a creator who can help Chelsea create better goalscoring opportunities. For the creator, Ousmane Dembélé is very impressive, and free so I think Chelsea should go all out for that signing. Nkunku may be an option, but also a very pricey one.

CONCLUSION + POSSIBLE CHELSEA XI
